The Exotic is a short-haired version of the Persian.

In the early 1980's, the Exotic in Australia came about
by breeding Persians with British short-hairs,
resulting in a heavy boned kitten, carrying a dense, plush coat.
Resembling a gorgeous little teddy-bear and as cute as a button.

They have the most gentle nature and are very responsive to humans.

They are to be bred to the Persian standard and colours.
The difference being their hair length.

The British Shorthair, arguably the oldest breed of cat in England,
traces it's history back to Roman domestic cats.
These cats are wonderful companions,
with a thick plush coat inviting petting.

The British Shorthair is a medium to large, solid,
powerful cat of rounded contours.

Known as the “ Garfield ” cat, he comes in many colors.
Although originally Blue, over the years other colours have been added, hence they are now referred to as British Shorthairs,
and also known as the "Teddy Bears" of the cat world.
